It is a crazy time of year, full of entertaining family, shopping for presents, finishing those year-end work projects, and (for us) filling all of your Stella Valle gift orders! We love every minute of it, but sometimes all of that running around can make a girl tired, right?! To counterbalance the craziness, we are opting right now for calming neutrals and comfortable textiles in our outfits. Clothes and accessories have the ability to both project and affect your state of mind, so when the holidays have you frazzled, pull out your caramel sweaters and faux furs to bring a sense of calm to your style.
Monochromatic looks often portray an easy sophistication. Render them in neutrals and you’ve got yourself a breezy-chic look that says, “I’m the chillest girl in the game.” Only you’ll know if that’s actually true. A good pair of shades will hide those tired eyes that might give you away.
Ashley paired her baby-bump-hugging sweater dress and beige bag with the English Bazaar earring, Year 2052 bracelet, Year 2070 ring, Rio de Janeiro ring, and Year 2072 ring, all rendered in gold plated to keep the color story consistent. Paige opted for the Hooked ear cuff, Sweet Nothings ear cuff, Year 2050 bracelet, Year 2051 bracelet, Forever rings, and Soul Mate midi ring with her faux fur coat. This coat is a mocha latte in clothing form. With foam. And chocolate shavings. Yum. (That might be what’s in those cups we’re holding).
Staying relaxed during the holiday season might not be possible, but looking relaxed is a simple equation: Beige knits + shades + a gold statement bangle. Easy as pie. You might have a lot on your plates right now (we mean that literally - did the word “pie” make anyone else hungry?), so use your wardrobe to introduce the calm that you need into your day.
